So apparently I can't even walk around Disneyland for a measly 3 hours without my foot exploding into pain. It wasn't so bad at the time but this morning I can hardly walk. I thought I was getting better. What the hell am I supposed to do when I start dancing 5 days a week next semester? I'm never going to get back to dancing barefoot at this rate. Who the hell will want to cast me anything if I have to wear stupid sneakers all the time??

Dammit Roomies...

For the past few weeks, my roomies have been watching the premiering episodes of Dollhouse while I'm in the room. It's already into season 2 or 3 or whatever but I am already hooked after watching a few episodes. I don't have time for my current fandoms, let alone one where the episodes are a full hour. But it's live action AND in English which I can't really say for everything else I watch. I guess I'll just have to make time every week to crowd around the computer and watch the show once a week. Besides, I can justify it as female bonding time.

Recs?

F-list! Homework is burning me out! I want to take a break and read a few short pieces of fanfiction, preferably oneshots or something with only a few chapters. A nice, juicy lemon would be preferable, and though I love Naruto, I'd love to read a Zoro/Nami or Sanji/Nami One Piece fic. Any recs? I'd really appreciate it!

I must cosplay these women before I die!

I beat the game Batman Arkham Asylum last night. Apart from being an awesome game, there were some badass versions of some of the characters. Poison Ivy is the sexiest thing I've ever seen and Harley is the hottest nurse ever. If I mske it to comicon this year, one of these costumes will have to happen...

Sickness strikes!

Dance class was canceled today and I have a feeling that the masses of sick people in the department infected our teacher. Is it wrong to be grateful there's no class when so many of my friends are deathly ill with 104 degree fevers?

Batman

I spent most of the day playing Batman Arkham Asylum instead of writing a school paper, but I must admit, that game makes me want to get better acquainted with the fandom. I'm intrigued by all of these dark and gritty characters that never got any screen time on the animated series because they were just too gruesome, and of course I have always had a deep love for Catwoman and to a lesser extent, Poison Ivy. They're just so damn sexy in their evilness. Does anybody know any sites that might have some of the comics posted or at least recommend to me some good titles that aren't quite as cheesy as the 1970's plots?

New Laptop at last!

Last week my HP laptop had yet another breakdown, this time related to the battery (as opposed to the hard drive, broken hinge, messed up screen, missing keys, broken/ obnoxiously loud fan, and inconsistent cd rom problems its already had in the past 3 years I've owned it) and though my tech savvy friend was able to get it working again, I decided I really didn't want to risk it dying for good right before a big assignment was due. That's why I'm currently typing from my brand new spiffy Toshiba. So far I like it a lot, except for the fact that instead of Windows EXP, I'm stuck with Vista but I get a free upgrade to 7 when it comes out. This laptop seems to run slower than my other one, but I have 4 times the hard drive space now which is awesome for all my anime storage! It took me forever to set the darn thing up but now most of my files are transfered. I'll keep my old laptop for emergencies, but its nice to have as reliable machine now.

I think my ipod is the next thing I need to upgrade. Although it still works fine, I've about filled its 30 gig capacity.

If only...

For once....just once, I'd like to meet a guy who gives a damn...thinks of me as more as a nice girl good for the occasional good time...who won't talk to me only when its convenient... who does things on MY terms once in a while instead of just his.
